5-Ingredients Garlic Noodles

As much as I love cooking there are two thing about it that I don’t like: not having enough time and doing the dishes afterwards. Back to the first one, I love those quick and easy recipes with lots of flavor and a few ingredients, and I want to share with you one of my favorites.

 

Ingredients

16oz linguine
3/4 cup butter
8 garlic gloves minced
1 small yellow onion diced
1/4 cup fresh parsley
Salt & pepper

(I give you measurements, but honestly, go crazy! You can use as many as you want and the recipe won’t be affected.)

 

Directions

1. Fill a large pot with about 5 quart of water, season with salt to taste, and bring to a rapid boil.

2. Add the pasta into the water and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Remember to stir occasionally.

3. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick pan add the butter. When half of it melts throw in the garlic and onions. Cook in medium heat for about 5 minutes or until the garlic and onion tenders. (No, we won’t wait for all the butter to melt. I believe that doing it that way blend and enhance all the flavors.)

4. Add drained pasta to the pan with the butter and mix well. Sprinkle the fresh parsley and pepper to taste and toss again. For even more flavor you can sprinkle Parmesan cheese in top.

5. Serve and enjoy!
